School of International Development Research

The School of International Development (DEV) has a global reputation as a centre for research excellence. The results of the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF2014) rank the School of International Development 4th (Times Higher Education) in the country for overall research, with 74% of our research ranked “world-leading” or “internationally excellent”. DEV is renowned for its research on climate change, behavioural and experimental economics, environmental justice, social protection and wellbeing throughout the lifecourse.
